YONKERS WINS!

The YES YONKERS! Community Quilt Project was the brainchild of Evan and Katori. They were inspired by the fundamental principles of the Hip Hop Culture - PEACE, UNITY, LOVE & FUN. Together, these two Yonkers-based artists produced this ArtsWestchester grant award-winning art project to unify the City of Yonkers through this all-inclusive project. During 2018 and 2019, they partnered with 35 businesses and organizations and collected art of over 1,200 participants.

This is the largest community art project in the history of Yonkers.
